Nia is an expressive Body-Mind movement and lifestyle practice
integrating fitness and health, creatively blending movements, concepts and philosophies from Eastern and Western traditions. Nia blends energies of Dance Arts (jazz, Duncan Dance & modern dance) with Healing Arts (yoga, Alexander method) and Martial Arts ( tai chi, tae kwon do and aikido).
Nia is based on the body's natural design (The Body's Way). Students learn the joy of movement to help them achieve physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being...and it's loads of fun! Easy steps, kicks and stances accompanied by lovely music adds to the magic!
