* Dances of Universal Peace will be rescheduled for later this spring.
Join us for this unique combination of folk art and spiritual practice which combines dance with simple singing and chanting from various religious and wisdom traditions.
We will begin our evening with Eat, Dance, and Pray Together, a film that gives a beautiful and inspired history of the Dances and their presence worldwide. After a break and refreshments, we will all join hands in bringing the Dances to life. No experience is required as we move together using simple folk dance movements.
Live music is provided. The film is informative and entertaining. And the Dances are a joyous celebration of our essential Divine nature.
Dance Leader
Abram VanDover is a certified Dance Leader in this tradition. He has been involved in presenting these Dances for more than 10 years and has provided musical accompaniment at retreats in the mid-Atlantic region. He is well known also for creating original Dances based on familiar traditions.
