Come enjoy dances from all over the world set to beautiful music and in the company of other women. Sacred Circle Dances have simple, repetitive steps that allow us to become fully present in our bodies, turning off our busy minds and relaxing into the present moment. This is a powerful way to become attuned to oneself and to our connectedness with All That Is. While some dances are meditative, others are lively and fun. These dances are easy to learn, and each dance is gently taught. No previous dance experience is required.
Presenter
Peggy O'Neill, MSW, is a skilled dance teacher and small group facilitator who has been leading Sacred Dance for over 20 years for local, regional, and national groups. She recently completed an extended period of study at Pendle Hill, the Quaker Center for Study and Contemplation, during which she became clear that leading Sacred Circle Dance is the central element of her calling to the Sacred Feminine. Peggy especially loves the healing, loving energy that is generated in groups of women through Sacred Circle Dance, and feels blessed to have been given access to this powerful vehicle for personal growth and transformation.
